Eligibility for Partner and Child

Post by raviprkaash.d » Mon Dec 09, 2013 10:08 am

Hi,

1. I came to UK on 23 Dec, 2007 on Work permit visa. Received my ILR on 16 Jan, 2013. Now, almost one year on ILR visa.

2. I married my wife in India and brought her here to the UK as my dependent on 22 Nov 2010. She also received her ILR on 16 Jan, 2013. (She was absent from UK from 5 Jun 2011 to 9 July 2012 as she could not travel due to medical reasons - related to pregnancy and delivery of our son)

3. Our Son was born in India, came to UK as my dependent on 9 July 2012. He also received ILR on 16 Jan 2013.

I would like to know if my wife and my son are also eligible for applying for naturalisation by Jan 2014. If not, should I apply for naturalisation and then later apply for them as family members of UK Citizen? Could you please help?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ravi

Thank you. Sorry for the inconvenience. I thought I read the FAQ's but looks like I missed the main section.
