Language requirements - CONFUSED!!

Post by stela » Fri Jan 10, 2014 2:50 pm

HI everyone,

I've been reading this forum for the past week in order to find some information regarding the new requirements for proof of English Language, but unfortunately I became so much more confused than I was.

I want to apply for Naturalisation asap, got almost all the documents needed, I passed recently my Life in the UK test, but I am still confused as to whether I need to take an ESOL Level 3 exam or not.

My situation is: I've been living in the UK for the past 7 years, EU National. I've attended college and got my GCSEs in English, Maths etc; NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin and AAT Level 2 in Accounting.

Will these certificates be enough as proof of Good English level or do I need to still take an exam?

Pls help !! :( as I am so very confused and can't seem to find any equivalents to national qualifications.

Thank you very much in advance!

You'll need the B1 Level English test.
(Casa, not CR001)
