I understand that there are already so many posts around this new English language requirement (KoLL) addressing several confusing aspects of it. I would highly appreciate If I get some guidance/clarification for the below mentioned points which causing me a great deal of confusion.
Me and my wife got our ILR in Nov 2012 and now would be applying for naturalisation in Jan-2014. I understand that I can use PBS calculator (used the same for T1/T1-Ext and then for ILR) to fulfil KoLL requirement for my Naturalisation application.
However I am confused

As per the guidelines on the UKBA, The following groups are considered automatically to meet the English language component of the KoLL requirement and will not be required to show a formal speaking and listening qualification:
1) Nationals of majority English speaking countries (Annex A).
2) Those who have obtained a degree taught in English.
My wife has a Master degree in Engineering from Indian University and her degree is on PBS and does provide 10 points for her qualification.
Is it sufficient for her to give PBS evidence to meet English Language component of KoLL as listed above under point 2 (Degree taught in English)..?
Please note that my wife got her ILR as a Tier 1 Dependent. Can she use PBS to give this evidence..?
OR
Does my wife still need to obtain UK NARIC Statement of Comparability? if yes, can you please advice what information and documentation do I need to submit to UK NARIC.
Please give your valuable advice to clear my confusion/concerns.
Best Regards,
NS
