Naturalisation certificate and applying for british passport

Hello there,
Me and my partner are british citizen, and applied for naturalisation certificate for my kids, havent received yet, now question is,
if i have the certificate and want to go to india with my kidss, (indian passports) and apply from india for their british passport,
is that ok ? can i ?, what is legality ?
please suggest

Yes, once you have the children's registration certificate, you can apply for their passports abroad, bare in mind that India doesn't allow dual nationality.
