Eligibility for Citizenship

Post by sonub4ualt » Wed Sep 10, 2014 1:29 pm

Hi,

I am planning on delivering my second baby in India due in Dec'14, as i have a 2 year old and it will be hectic, as there is no family member except me to look after the newcoming baby, my wife, and my 2 year old. I am in the process of applying for naturalisation, as me and my wife both are on ILR.
My first son has British passport.
My question is:

If I am not naturalised by the time my baby is born, what type of visa should I apply for my baby to return to UK.

Thanks
Sonu

ILR I feel.. (I am not sure)

consider yourself lucky if you dont get naturalization. the process of applying citizenship for kid in India is very long and tough process.. your wife and your babies will have to wait looooong..also you may have to send your british passport also .. u will be sitting here with no passport to travel..

If you happen to get citizenship.. take ROA for kid and come and apply for citizenship for kid here in UK....
