I'm applying for naturalisation by post.

Just wondering should I send my application by signed for first class?

Also would home office returns original passport after couple of weeks or they return with approval letter?

Special delivery.

I'd also recommend enclosing a 'pre-paid special delivery' envelope with it, otherwise Home Office will send you your documents back 2nd Class unrecorded.
