Registration for a Child

Post by alakbr » Mon Jun 29, 2015 8:37 pm

Hi People

I have an urgent question relating to my friend's child registration/naturalisation requirements. Any opinions/advice will be highly appreciated.

My friend and his wife both do not yet have a legal stay in the UK. He is waiting for his tribunal date in september. But he believes that once his child who is born in the UK turns 10 years old in october 2015, he will be eligible to apply for registration/naturalisation for the child. Is this true/possible?

If this is possible, will he be then able to debate his immigration case on his child's british citizenship?

Advice and comments are highly appreciated.

Regards
