BC and Tax matter

Post by aliq09 » Fri Dec 11, 2015 4:28 pm

Hope some one will guide me ..

I have a question relating to tax matters . A friend of mine applied for ILR and was successful . Now after a year he is going for BC / AN1 later in 2016 . Kindly see the details below

ILR Income to HO from May 2014 to 31 March 2015 : £ 54000 ( ILR granted )

HMRC submission April to April full year income : £56000 ( All tax paid accordingly )

Is there some thing to worry about ? In my opinion there is no issue but to be on safe end , i need some suggestion .

Thanks
Thanks

Ali

Employment is not a prerequisite for the privilege of citizenship.

If you are concerned about 'good character' see forum FAQS on this matter, eg Q22:

noajthan .. thanks

My friend was concerned for the amount difference . Yes! i totally agree with you that employment is not the criteria for BC alone . As HO now checking your previous earnings even at BC level , he asked me to just clarify this issue . As i can see the amount is as per Year to year tax end ( April to April ) and HO from May to March so there is no issue . Additionally , he has fulfill all his tax obligation . Any further comments..
Thanks
