Applied Naturalizations On 08/07/15 Still Waiting

Hi All

I had applied for Naturalization on 08/07/15 but still waiting, HO had received my application on time, money got deducted and biometrics were done quite quick.

Its over six months now, no response from HO so far. I have rung couple of times but telephone operators say wait another two weeks because the actual six months start from when the application fee is deducted not the application postage date.

I have been following this forum quite a long time, it helped me a lot in past. What do you thing What shall I do apart from waiting. There has been some phone numbers and email addresses were shared here to contact HO, Can you please share here

My home country passport is about to expire in 4 months time, if I apply for renewal and get it renewed then Do I need to inform HO about the new passport?

Dear All

I am still waiting, had sent an email to home office and get a reply back stating that its still in process.
Hopefully they will decide soon.

I have got renewed my home country passport, do i need to inform the home office about it please?
