It seems that biometrics letters are received within two weeks of application date.

alterhase58 wrote:You have 15 working days from the date of letter to do biometrics. If you miss this there is another letter giving you 10 working days. After that the application will be invalid. Generally you also need to consider that UKVI may contact you for further queries, so at least have someone watch your mail, just in case. I believe you will also be given a time frame to reply (10 days, not sure).

Triggering Article 50 is just that - then there will be two years of negotiations after which the UK leaves the EU - that is the plan. Therefore no need to get stressed.hellothere19 wrote:alterhase58 wrote:You have 15 working days from the date of letter to do biometrics. Thanks for the info
I could wait till April to do it,as I will be back home but somehow I prefer applying before Brexit is triggered, not sure why, it is unsettling me.
I have no one to check my mail for 18 days, so need to think about it

Citizenship law does not come under EU law so no changes are expected to the requirements as such, tweaking certainly from time to time.
