Please help--Child

Post by vn4236 » Sun Dec 03, 2017 5:07 pm

Hi, I am a child with an EU citizenship as I was born in Germany in 2001.

My mum got british citizenship this year and my dad still has his EU citizenship.

How can i apply for uk citizenship as i want a uk passport.

I have been living in the UK for about 11 years

After researching the closest section i found was "Children born outside the UK – s.3(1)" but i am not sure if this is right and i cant find the conditions that suit me.

All help is appreciated. Thank You

That's correct. Apply for a PR if you don't have one and then for UK citizenship using form MN1. If you apply before 18 it will not only be cheaper, but you won't have to do the life in the UK test and the English language test.

Thank you very much, is there any differences due to Brexit?

Can i apply for PR application on my own, or do i need any extra items?
