I attended my UKVCAS appointment in Croyden today. Overall the experience was quick and easy (at 7pm, arrived at 6.58pm) and I was out of there by 7.10.
The lady who scanned my passport only did this and then said she will verify all other documents that I had uploaded including my University Degree. I was surprised that they did not check the originals at all. While most documents are verifiable by the government (P60s, life in the uk letter etc), I doubt that they can verify the degree as proof of English language.
Does anyone know how the home office prevents people from changing names on documents on the computer and if the UKVCAS staff should at least check the originals (I have read several times on this forum that never never seem to)?
