UK Born Child MN1 Application After Visa Expires

Hi,

I have gone through the forum to get a firm answer for my dilemma.
My UK Born child (6-year old) is currently on Tier 2 (General) PBS Dependent Visa which expires in July 2019.

Both my wife & I have ILR.

Am I right to believe that, if I apply British Citizenship for my child via MN1, I can either apply before or after his current Visa expires as he was born in the UK?

Any limitation on this? Many thanks for your clarification.

No issues. A UK Bron child does not need a valid visa to register as British. They have an entitlement to register.
