children citizenship after 7 years rout

I got ILR on 10 years rout. during this time my children lived in the UK for more than 8 years. children's application is pending with HO on 7 years rout.

since I got the ILR. can I apply my children citizenship after they get visa on 7 years rout or they would have to wait to complete 10 years.
children did not born in UK.

Children can apply for British citizenship when one parent has got British citizenship AND both the children and the other parent have ILR.
