Naturalisation - original passport stolen

Post by Lucky1989 » Tue Sep 17, 2019 10:03 am

Hi all

I am preparing for my UKCAS appt. in two weeks time so gathering my documents. I have everything in order however, my passport that I was stamped into the UK with in 2012 was stolen at the start of this year. I need to prove I arrived when I say I did, and the suggestion is that I use my passport to do so.

Could anyone provide any insight about what may suffice as an alternative? The first time I registered with a GP was a fair few months after I arrived - however I have P60's from the first year I was here, my original NINO letter date stamped 20 days after I arrived, and a statement from the first job I had saying when I started work.

Is this enough or are there other supporting documents I could gather?

Thank you so much!
Lucy

Do you have a copy of that passport by any chance?

Did you report it stolen? Do you have a police report? Do you have your ticket itinerary to prove that?

Sorry. Why do you need to prove when you first arrived when you say you did?
Has this something to do with being an EU national ?
