Good character requirement and driving penalties on online application

Hello,

We are filling out the online application for my dear partner and we have have reached the good character requirement stage.

Here it asks about convictions and other penalties

He had an FPN-3points 04/2016 (now spent) and another FPN 6 points July 2017, both for speeding.

We have declared these under “a penalty for driving offence for example disqualification and driving without motor insurance” under the part where it says something else..

Was this the right thing to do?

Also will it be okay sending in the application before the end of July as that will be three years after his last FPN.
