British Citizenship absence

Post by him119 » Thu Nov 05, 2020 3:38 pm

i know there is a criteria for no more than 90 days in last 12 months for citizenship... and i did not until i was stranded in India due to Covid lockdown where international flights were suspended... so i now have 110 days outside UK as opposed to 90 days... but I am still well under 270 days in last 3 years (spouse of British Citizen route)
i know there is option for HO staff for discretion but what are my chances of being rejected?

any help/guidance appreciated... thank you

between 100 and 180 days, where the residence requirement across the
qualifying period is met – discretion is only appropriate where the applicant demonstrates strong links through the presence of family, employment and their home in the UK
