Certificate of Entitlement to Right of Abode query

Hello,

I assume this is the right section for this topic as couldn't find one for 'Right of Abode'.

I have recently submitted application for 'Certificate of Entitlement to Right of Abode' for my daughter born in UK. The application is straightforward however I have some queries. Below are the details:

1. I have ILR (since 2012) and daughter born in UK (2 months old) so submitted 'CoE to RoA' application in the UK
2. Have received a UKVI email with a case id
3. Reading on this forum a bit confused about the need for biometrics. Does this application need biometrics taken? I have not received any inputs from the UKVI and the application process did not guide for one.
4. Any inputs on the time its taking currently for such applications?
