Help needed, MN1 application outside UK

Hi experts:
I am doing the MN1 application for my daughter, she was born in UK and since that both me and my wife get ILR, so she is eligible for MN1 application.
We travelled back to Chine in July 2021 as our parents not in good health condition, and the travel policy is very strict here due to covid, we not sure when we can back to uk.
We are applying MN1 for her online, i am in China i believe we can take binomial info collected in embassy etc, anyone know how to submit the docs? do i need to post all docs (including passport etc) back to UK home office ? Or they can be checked while we are taking the binomial info in China and return to us ?
