Life in the UK Test

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know if a UK driving license can be used a proof if ID when booking the life in the UK test?

My partner is looking to apply for citizenship, he already has ILR. Unfortunately he was never given a BRP and his ILR was granted when he was a child and his Kenyan passport has expired.

We're a little stuck with where to go next. I've seen on some websites saying it is accepted and on other it isn't.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
