First British Passport documents for an EU Citizen?

Hi there,

I'm ready to send off my documents to HMPO for my first British Passport.

Do I have to send my expired European passport which I got in the UK over 15 years ago? (It has no stamps on it whatsoever! There's nothing there for them to see on my old EU Passport which expired in 2017, as Europeans could come into the UK without visas before Brexit).

I will surely be providing my current and still valid European passport though, along with my British Citizenship naturalisation certificate unless advised otherwise.

I'd like to thank in advance any relevant replies to the matter.

I see... I will provide both passports in that case.

Are you aware whether they're more tender with the British Naturalisation certificate on its return recently or they still don't care about our documents and will fold it in half even if I ask not to?

I just want to notify you that you're wrong about the information you provided!

Be careful when advising people as you come across as if you're certainly sure about what you're talking about when you clearly aren't.

European Citizens with expired and renewed passports DO NOT need to send their expired passports, only their renewed passports along with their British Naturalisation certificate.
