traveling after ceremony

hi

my ceremony is on the 15th of Feb.. I plan to apply for passport on the same day and travel abroad for an important meeting on the 19th...

I know I can't use my ILR BRP I'm thinking my wife can receive passport and post to me abroad and use it to come to the UK.

does this plan sound good?
