Referees Passport Number

Hi there,
I have submitted my application for naturalisation as a British Citizen. I have provided the old passport number of one of the referees in the application. What can I do to update the new passport number? Can I put the date after the application is submitted in the referee form? please advise.

Referee is already on the system with the old passport number so shouldn't be an issue. If you wish you could upload a note with the new number, if you haven't had your biometrics meeting yet.

I have one more query the date mentioned in the referee forms can be later than the application submission that i.e. in my case, I have submitted the application on 24th Feb and got the signature from referees on 25th Feb-is that okay? Please suggest

Date of referee declaration before or after submission date is acceptable.
