Excessive Absences by 9 days on the last year AND 150 on the last 5 years due to COVID

Hi all,

I have a question regarding absences during the last year and the last 5 years.

The guide says that if you are 100 days or less; exercise discretion without any other requirements (I am 99 days).

Also, I am on 601 on the last 5 years because I was unable to fly back due to the lockdowns. The guide says that discretion can apply when "meets the requirements you must only consider exercising discretion where the applicant has established their home, employment, family and finances in the UK"

My question is "do I meet the requirements to get the discretion on the last 5 years since because I am below the 100 of the last year where the discretion is exercised without any other requirements?"
