UK Naturalisation Quries

Post by Cloudyday » Mon Apr 25, 2022 12:16 pm

Dear Board,

I seek your assistance and would be grateful if you can please help me with some issues filling up application for Naturalisation:

I received my ILR recently and now applying for naturalisation under spouse of British national (3 years route).

1. I received my ILR quite recently under spouse of British nation (5 year route) but as applied considering 28 days concession rule, I have not finished my 5 years yet as I landed in the UK on 8th May 2017, Will this cause any issue if i apply now?

2. Employment: Do I have to give details of all the additional jobs taken alongside my permanent/ main job since entering the UK in May 2017? If yes, then I seek further help:

I have had my full time Job since June 2017 and active with it,

A: I took additional Job in April 2020 but worked for only 1 day and was paid after deduction of Tax, they have not removed me from the system as yet (i.e no P45 issue) and have kept me on the payroll but showed 0.00 earned for all this time till present. Shall I inform them of this and how?

B: I took additional Job in November 2021 and currently active with them and have been receiving pays after tax deduction, shall i disclose this as well?

I would be grateful if you can please guide me on this?

Kind regards

1. Not sure here - you have got ILR now and for naturalisation only need to document three years of residency? No sure what the issue is.
2. Just list all your employments permanent/second jobs, etc. No need to explain what the arrangements were-note employment as such is not a pre-requisite, neither are there financial requirements (income/tax/NI/benefits/etc). If need be list all jobs in a separate note.

Dear Board,

Seek your advice,

I have stated all my additional jobs since May 2017, Another Question to clarify:

Have you had any other work over the past 10 years or since you came to the UK? - Shall I say NO

Await your revert,

Many thanks,

If you declared all employment/work already then presumable this would be NO.
