Child born in the Uk after one parent has ILR

I have a query , if a child is born in the UK after one parent has got an ILR ( 5 days after receiving the ILR)
Does the child still have to get MN1 registration or he/she can directly just go through birth certificate and passport?

A child born in the UK to a settled parent is British at birth. Such a child can get a British passport after birth
