British Passport -correction

Dear all,

Firstly I would like to thank you all for helping and guide me through the British nationality and passport.

I have received my British passport few weeks ago, because I never used my surname on the previous passport and used as full name.
On the online application I filled the same and written my full name in “given name” section.

But when I received my new British passport- they have put my full name under “surname” and given name states as “Xxx”
So my full name counts as XXX now, which is quite annoying to me. All fairness I never used my surname and as per my past Indian passport my full name comes under given name which is my full name and surname they left it blank.

But on British is saying my given name XXX which I don’t think it’s not right. How could I write to passport office to correct it ?
