Documents For The First British Passport: Lost First Passport

Hi all,

I am expecting to be a naturalised British citizen in a few months time (fingers crossed). I was looking at the documents required for the first passport for naturalised citizens. Apart from naturalised certificate I also need to send my first passport (using which I entered the UK), unfortunately I lost my first passport, I reported that to the police and the home office at that time.

What else can I send if anything at all?

Just send your current passport. No issue.

If you can locate the scan copy.
Copy or evidence of you reporting it as lost to relevant authorities.

The OP below used only current passport which is similar or same as your situation.

I do have a scan copy of my first passport and a copy of the police report which I filled at that time.

Do I still need to send my current passport along with the above?

You would be ok with just submitting your current passport (done it myself, forgot to send my first entry passport, still have it) - no issue. Or send copy of the old passport as well.
