Travelling before applying for UK Passport

Hi all!

I have just received my naturalisation certificate. I am now looking to apply for my first British passport however, before doing so, I was planning to go on a trip abroad back to my home country (EU).

Do you know if there is any issue in travelling with my EU passport, especially entering back in the UK?

You should be a visa free national if you are a EU citizen so it should be ok. Could be worthwhile to bring your naturalisation certificate. However, the best policy is to apply and obtain for your first British passport before you travel as your immigration status is no lomger valid once you become a British citizen.
