Change of Reference on Naturalisation application

Hi,

I have recently applied for British Naturalisation. Application already filled and paid for. Just waiting to book biometric and upload documents.

One of my referee I have listed for reference has backed out to sign due to their personal reason. I can arrange another referee but how do I go on about it and let UK immigration know. Has anyone faced similar situation before?

Get a new suitable referee to sign a new declaration - upload it together with a covering note before your biometrics appointment, or alternatively take it with you and ask for it to be uploaded.

Remember to include in the covering note all the additional information that the online form asks about the referee, together with the form.
