citizenship application 6 months passed+ Indian passport about to expire

Hi,
I had applied for citizenship on 29th july and completed 6 months on 29th Jan. I am on Indian passport which is about to expire on 19th feb.
I never got any email from UKVI about any delay or whatsoever. I have emailed complaints for the delay in reply and received standard reply
Should i renew my indian passport and wait for approval? Note sure what can be done and what not.
would appreciate a reply on this

For naturalisation it's not an issue if your foreign passport expires during the process.
However, as a rule I would always renew my other passport as may may need it for travel.
Not aware whether or how the OCI process ties into this.

Renewing your assport won't cause a problem. Without a passport you won't be able to travel.
