I think i have messed up my brother’s application

Post by Bestofpie » Sun Feb 09, 2025 4:23 am

Hi,
I helped my brother with his application, and we submitted it and booked his biometric appointment. Today at work, it hit me that we forgot to include some of his previous applications from when he visited the UK at age 10 (i think).

We did include all applications from the past six years, including two applications to enter the UK and two more—one for pre-settled status and another for settled status. However, we forgot to mention the visit visas from when he stayed in the UK for a month on two separate occasions.

I don’t think we even have the reference numbers for those applications, and I didn’t see any stamps in his passport, they might be in an old one.

How big of an issue is this? His biometric appointment is tomorrow, and he has already uploaded the documents, urgent.

Anyone?

Should I cancel the biometric appointment for now?

Not an issue. Visit visas are not that important and don't affect statutory requirements anyway.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.

Visit visas are non-immigrant visas, they do not need to be declared. Only immigrant visas that results in ILR needs to be declared.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
