Reprint confusion in citizenship registration, passport stuck

Hi there,
I applied MN1 for my son in Jan 2025. In Mar 2025, I was contacted by home office advising that they had issued the certificate with a error in name and the error certificate was on the way to me. They advised for the erroneous certificate to be sent back to their address and a corrected certificate will be issued right away. I sent the wrong one and received the corrected certificate in 2 weeks time, early April. The issue date in both the wrong and correct certificate is the same date- 13/03/2025. I applied for my son's passport using the same, the passport office is asking for a certificate that was reprinted on 24/03/2025, which I guess could be when the corrected certificate was printed. I have written to the home office email who contacted me about the error in MN1, but I am not sure if they will resolve this easily. Is there a number to which I can ring and speak to about the situation? What is the right way to resolve this?
