UK NARIC - English Proficiency Certificate for Naturalization application

Dear Admins,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am preparing to apply for British Citizenship via the Naturalisation route. When I applied for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), I submitted a UK NARIC certificate, which I obtained in 2017.

Could you please confirm whether this certificate is still valid for the Naturalisation application? I’ve noticed that the current application refers to Ecctis, and I’m unsure whether I need to obtain a new certificate through Ecctis or if my existing UK NARIC certificate will suffice.

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Ecctis is the new iteration of NARIC. Your NARIC certificate will be ok.

I’m in the same situation, but when I got to the document upload step, it asked for an ECCTIS letter.
I already used UK NARIC for my Tier 2 visa in 2019, and it was never asked for in my ILR application.

this is what they need me to upload :
"Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK AND confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched"

and my answers are :
1. Have you provided evidence of your English language ability in a previous application? ==> yes
2. Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013? ==> yes
3. Do you have a degree that was taught in English? ==> yes
4.Country your degree was taught in ==> xxx
5.Does your degree meet the English language requirement for this visa ==> yes
6.What will you use to prove your degree taught in English? ==> yes
