My split last name

Hi ,guys I need advice of people because I need to apply British passport after getting my naturalisation but I have problems on my Indian passport my given name abc def together.but on naturalisation certificate my surname is def used as a my surname.so now I need to align my name on my Indian passport .but i don’t know what is procedure because I can’t apply British passport until my both documents are same .please advise me

As far as I know Indians must surrender their passports when they are naturalised in the UK.
If the passport is cancelled during this process then I guess you won't need to align your name.
