Security Clearance

How Security Clearance is linked with British Citizenship.

I am eligible for Citizenship in this May under 5(HMRC)+1(PR).
Do i need to get this security clearance check done prior to apply for citizenship?. If yes, how can i do this.?

Please some one help me.

Security Clearance is only relevant in applying for jobs needing access to Top Secret data, ie nuclear, weapons, etc - nothing to do with citizenship.
