Citizenship application - Which date for ILR?

Post by sleapingbeauty » Wed Jan 05, 2011 1:52 pm

I am currently applying for naturalisation and filling in Form AN and am confused about the date I have to enter in Section 1 (Personal Information) in question 1.3 (Please say when you were given indefinite leave to remain in the UK...)

I have been granted with ILR on 15th April 2010, but as the HSMP (JR) applicant, also received a backdated letter saying that I have been free from immigration control on 30th August 2009 and my ILR is valid from then for naturalisation purposes.

Should I use 30th August, 2009 or 15th April 2010 as the answer to question 1.3 in the form AN?

Many thanks for your help!
