They're supposed to proccess in date order yet my husband is a June applicant and still nothing whilst August approvals are coming through. There's still a few from March and April, May and June still waiting so I understand your frustration but you just got to ride it out...

Just received news from a friend who made an application in September saying that she received her approval today. I will get her timeline and put in on here. I remember she stated that she posted her application on the 7th of September 2015.

I am just sat here thinking, why would HO not put in place an application tracking system, where applicants can track on updates on their application. This will save a lot of applicants on waiting games as you would be able to track your application and know what stage it is with the HO and not bother checking your post every day. This waiting game is killing. We paid a lot of money for this applications and the least the HO can do is to provide this service for their "Customers" .

As British Citizenship is not a right but a privilege, they don't care and it costs money to implement. They should rather invest the money in more caseworkers to ensure they can meet the six months.

With the amount of money HO gets in a year from different levels of applications, they have enough to provide tracking facilities and still have more than enough to employ as much case workers that are required to deal with cases within six months. I always hear this quote every time "British Citizenship is not a right but a privilege" this does not mean good quality services should not be provided to applicants by HO as it is their right and not a privilege to take applicants money even when application is refused, most especially when the error is from the case worker. I am only worried, because, the waiting game is killing me, and I can imagine those waiting for over six months, the feelings must be terrible for them.
