Update: 27/01/2012 called HO this morning and I was informed my application had gone through initial checks and is on queue waiting to be allocated to a case worker.
23/02/2012 I had called HO earlier today just before the postman came and I was told they were having technical issues with their system.

Thu Apr 12, 2012

The guy who I spoke to said a decision was made last week. He was a very pleasant chap. He did not say whether it was successful or not but said "follow the instructions on the letter".


Monday April 23, 2012

Called them today and they said a decision has not been made!!!! What the hell. I spoke to the same guy as well cause I remembered his name. How is this possible? Why is the information so drastically wrong? THE SAME GUY gave me the information! The only reason I called was I thought I would have had a response by now if the decision was made.

Thursday 28th June

Phoned them to let them know I was going away, spoke to a different guy and he said a decision has been made in April.!!!! What the hell!?!?!?! A letter is on the way in 10 days time! Gosh! Can't believe this!

Thursday 19th July

Came back from holiday and surprise surprise, no letter!!! I gave them an extra day as well.

1:30 pm Spoke to an adviser who said a case worker will call me back.

4:00pm No case worker called me back. She said a decision was made on the 2nd April. She said its not guaranteed the case worker will call back. She said a decision letter has NOW been printed. Why was it not printed before? I should get a response within 7-10 days.I don't know who to believe. Its all been a waste of time.

Fri 20th July

Called them and they have confirmed that the decision was made on the 2nd April and the letter was sent on the 19th July. Hopefully, this time, I will get the letter.

Tuesday 31st July

Surprise, surprise. No letter. Spoke to them again and asked them why the letter has not come. They said a decision letter was dispatched yesterday, 30 July. It will take 7 -10 days. WHAT THE HELL? I gave them extra time as well. They are jokers!! All this waiting for nothing! Again, I wait needlessly!

Yay my good news have come in my brown envelope. Taken 6 months but glad its over!
