Apply for UK citizenship from abroad

Hello,

I would appreciate if some one help me.

My family have ILR and my son has British passport because he's born in UK after I got ILR.

Now myself, my wife and daughter are eligible which means under 90 days I've been out of UK and under 360 days under last five years to apply for citizenship but I've moved out of UK this Feb. for my work.

1. Can I apply for citizenship from abroad?
2. If I can't do it from abroad, go to UK, use NCS, stay 5 days and go abroad, is this possible?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Technically it is possible to apply from abroad. However this likely means you do not meet the Future Interntions requirement.

The UK is not interested to give away citizenship to people who do not plan to make the UK their home. If you plan to return in future, you can apply when you are back if you meet the requirements then.
