Hi everybody!
I would appreciate any advice in the following situation.
My husband is EU member, he's lived in the UK for full 5 years. He has been paying taxes all these years & is curently employed as well. We've got 1.2 years baby, who's received British Passport a few months ago ob behalf of her father ( mu husband).
My questions is whether there is any option to get a British passport for my husband on behalf of the family member who holds Brtish passport, i.e. our baby? Somebody told us that it should be easier to get British passport through the baby who's British rather than applying via Home Office in a standart way..
Does anybody know anything about similar cases?
We are also not sure whether he needs to get British naturalization 1st & whether this is mandatory for the Brtish Passport applcation afterwards?

Thank you very much for all help!

Only British citizens can apply for a British passport.

And, that your child is British doesn't help your husband in acquiring British citizenship any sooner.
