Hiya
Just about to apply for British Passport, it asks on form for address and any other adresses for last 3 years. I moved to my current address on the 18/02/2009 and moved out for 3 months in June 2011 until september 2011, and am now back at my current address where I have lived from 18/02/2009. I put this on my BC application form, but just wondering with regards to Passport application should I include this address for 3 months, as the section 8 is tiny for writing all of this info as well as info about my grandparents!
Many thanks

Always put the truth on any details as you never know if they will find out

I don't think on passport application form there is any question about the last 3 year addresses. It just asks about the current address (unless if i have forgotton something as i filled the form some time ago). Also if you are BC through naturalization then you don't have to provide your grandparents details.

Hi
Thank you for your replies. I am confused, as I called the passport office who said they want details of Grandparents, even if I didn't get my naturalisation through ancestry.
Anyone know of others who didn't include Grandparent details and were successful?
Many thanks

My husband didn't include Grandparent's details and applied successfully.

Thanks casa, its a minefield as the form asks for the details, don't want to not put it on and they refuse it! Did he apply long ago?

It's not required.
But if you are so worried, just add the details. Just don't forget to take a note of them as you might be asked about the details during the identity interview.

Just wondered what is the maximum amount of time that a countersignatory can sign and date the application before it is sent off to the passport office.
Many thanks

Please note that he could only sign after you completed the form which you can only do after you attended the ceremony and given the certificate (as you need to put the certificate number on the form).

I am having my citizenship ceremony on 16/06/2012, but am flying back to my country for 3 weeks on 1st July, therefore wil not be able to send off for my British Passport before I go. Therefore I wanted to get my countersignatory to sign my application before I go so that I can submit it as soon as I arrive back in UK on 23/07/2012. If my countersignatory dates the form say the 27/06/2012 and I send it on the 23/07/2012, will it be too much of a gap between the date of signing and sending, is anyone aware of a limit to the amount of time that can elapse.
Many thanks
