Married partner and Child under 18 status?

Hi all. I'd be ever so grateful if anyone can shed some light on this.
My father in law is originally from Romania but has been a British citizen for a while now. My question is this: can his wife also from Romania (my mother-in-law) who's been living here for 6 years make any claim to the British citizenship? Can their 15 years old son who's at school apply for British citizenship? I am only asking these questions because both (mother-in-law and son) are on Blue card and O somehow think that they could both claim British citizenship. Many thanks.
