Dear Forum members,

I'm planning to apply for British citizenship for my son. I've seen on UKBA site that i need to fill in MN1 form to register my UK born child as BC.

I'm on ILR and haven't got BC yet hence MN1.

My question is:

They asked for 2 referres: 1 from a person professionally involved with child either doctor, health visitor, teacher etc;

I've asked my GP and health visitor and they denied to sign as a referee as they stopped doing this. Instead they are happy to give a reference letter which doesn't serve the purpose.

2nd referee can be any one who is a BC holder, this is not a problem as i can get it from one of my friends.

Please can you advise on the 1st referee if any of you came across this
before?
