Hi there, just been blessed with a baby boy! will be applying for the british passport but was wondering if the registered childminder(qualified) who looks after my older daughter for the last 3 years, is willing to sign the passport form will this be accepted as a referee?

other thing is why do they want the grand parent's details? as I am unsure about my dad's details!
