hi all I have been a silent reader for quiet some time now

Eligibility criteria: (5 years refugee plus 1 yr indefinite)
Method of application: NCS (Birmingham)
Date of receipt by UKBA: 11 May 2012
Date of debit of fees: 2 May
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 23 May
Date of receipt of approval: 24 July dated 16 july
Date of Ceremony:14/08/2012

The OP is talking about naturalisation as a British citizen. The ceremony is on 14 August.
