Hello,

My British citizenship application has been approved and i received an invitation letter to book my ceremony date with my register office ,After that i received a questionnaire from my register office asked me to choose a date for my ceremony and to complete the questionnaire and send it to them so i did one week ago , I would like to know please what to do now ? Do i have to call them to make sure they received my questionnaire or don't do anything ? Do we receive a letter after sending the questionnaire to the register office or not ? Please help me with your reply , Thank you

Haven't heard about the questionnaire before. Usually most Councils book the cermony over the phone. Did you try calling the number on the invitation letter?

Hello Everyone,

I read most of the posts here regarding the British citizenship ceremony and all the people said that they booked their ceremony on the phone but in my case when i phoned my council they said that they will send me a letter and questionnaire to be completed and send back to them so they did send it to me and i ve completed the questionnaire by choosing my ceremony date and i ve send it back to them by post and since that i haven't heard anything from them ,Do i have to receive a confirmation letter for the date i ve chosen or just go to the ceremony on the date i ve chosen ? Please any advice, Thank you very much

Each council has its own way of doing things. It would be easier to call and ask them than to seek an answer here.
