British Passport for ILR Child

Dear ALL,

I have PR but mife don't have PR. Can i apply british passport for my son who was born after i received ILR.

Please let me know the process.

If your Child is born here then your child is a British from Birth just apply for his passport

If your Child is born here then your child is a British from Birth just apply for his passport


Thats NOT correct. His child is NOT BC from birth but entitled to register as a british citizen.

If child was born in the UK, then see also query about new born whose parents having ILR.

2nd what you are saying is not correct because his Child at time of birth the father has already the ILR/PR so that mean the child is british from birth he needs just to apply for a passport he doesn't need to register because he is a BC.

My mistake.

Mixed it up with earlier thread i read.

The Kid was born british.
