My daughter was born in UK and went to India with Indian passport and with out UK visa.After this I have got ILR.Recently my daughter came to UK on visiting visa and going back to India.
Now I want to apply British Citizenship for my daughter .Could anyone you please tell me different options to apply British citizenship.

1)Whether I can apply for British Citizenship for my daughter before going to India and after getting passport,I can send my daughter's passport to India and with British passport she can come back to UK

or

I only have to apply from India and if it is what form and what documents I should submit and how long it might take

Please advise

All applications for BC are made to the HO in the UK so you can apply from the UK.

Passport application needs to be made in the country the applicant is present so unless your child will be still in the UK in 2-3 months time (when the BC is granted), you can't apply for a passport from the UK.
