Thanks but it doesn't say anything about interview. Again! Do I have to send my passport to IPS and they will call me for interview?

If you opened and read through the link I sent you, you'd actually find all the answers to your questions.

The link 'Passport Interviews' (which can be clearly seen once you open the first link i sent you) will lead you to this:

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTr ... /DG_174153

You will find there all the answers to your query with regard to the interview process, timelines, etc.

With regard to your query about the passport application process itself, I.e., how to apply for first passport, etc, click this link:

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTr ... /DG_174153

Please take time to read all the information contained there. Most, if not all of our queries will be answered just by reading through the links I sent you. Hope this helps

When you apply for British Passport:
application form
Btitish certificate
2 Photos one signed by referee
your current passports as well.
Fees

IPS will return your document back and letter to arrange an interview to attend.

PS: you really need to read the guide. go to the Post office and ask for an application form inside it you will get the Guide.
